What education did you have before you took the Visual Effects for Film and Television course?
I have finished my Diploma in Game Design in 2016. Later on from 2016-2018, I worked at Reliance Education Institute as a Faculty for 3D Animation, Game Art and VFX. After that while filling in as a 3D generalist at Cerebroz Pvt Ltd. I chose to seek after Visual Effects for Film and Television program at Seneca College to catch up on my aptitudes in Lighting/Look Dev and to acquire information in coding and to gain more knowledge in Visual Effects.
Tell us a bit about your experience at the college.
I really enjoyed atmosphere of classes, there was a healthy competition as each one is acceptable at their work. You get opportunity to share your insight and gain from different understudies. What's more, as class was little so everybody persuades an opportunity to be with tuturs 1 on 1 for any difficulties. 24/7 access to labs, chroma room and types of gear for shoot was a delight. Incredible thing about this course are Faculties, brimming with information, extremely accommodating and supportive . They taught us up-to-date tools, techniques and even shared general information about what is happening in industry up and coming technology. They attempt to push you at your best. Education at Seneca, left me with profound understanding and better information on Lighting and all other viewpoint of Visual Effects.
How do you use the education you got at Seneca in your job today?
I as of now fill in as a Lighting Artist at Pixomondo, Toronto. All the things that I learned at Seneca, helps me get my tasks done faster and with more efficiency. In Lighting, knowledge gained from seneca about compositing helps me while making light slaps for compositors to utilize, uniquely information on Python assists with sparing a ton of time in many ways. When i entered into industry my first undertaking was in Unreal, this is the place assistant information given by faculties about edge cutting technology "Virtual creation" was helpful for me and I was able to blend into new pipeline and work process without any problem.
What advice would you give potential students who are thinking of taking the course?
From my experience, If you have good base of 3d multimedia or VFX then this is one of the best Visual Effect program out there. Go for it. Hard-work, Discipline and Dedication are the only tools you need for the program.Try not to be reluctant to commit errors, in fact make as many as you can, and learn from them. The first semester is significant and I prompt, one must be committed and taught during it. I wish you all the best for your time at Seneca and your future.
