What education did you have before you took the Visual Effects for Film and Television course?

In Venezuela I studied three years of Illustration and also did some Adobe After Effects certificates.  I came to Canada and took the 3D animation program at Seneca.  When I finished animation, I took the VFT program.

Tell us a bit about your experience at the college.

It was awesome. The classroom was a very professional environment.   It had very good equipment for students to work with, and good quality of teachers that currently work in the industry.

How do you use the education you got at Seneca in your job today?

Everything that I learned in class is actually what I'm dealing with in on the job, so I felt prepared.  I got my job with the demo reel I made at school.

What advice would you give potential students who are thinking of taking the course?

Really put 100% into your demo real.  Do a lot of networking.  Always keep up with technology and always listen to your teacher's advice, they know what they're talking about!
