What education did you have before you took the Visual Effects for Film and Television course?

I have a Bachelor's Degree in VFX Filmmaking from India before taking VFT in Seneca.

Tell us a bit about your experience at the college.

I had an amazing experience studying in Seneca.The program was well designed to cover all areas of Visual Effects and was taught by experienced lecturers who are currently working in the industry. Even though the course was very intense,Instructors made sure we were comfortable with the program by giving personalised attention throughout the course. They are very supportive and stood by me in every step of the process to make sure I reach my goals. Those 8 months were very informative,I had a lot of fun doing it.

How do you use the education you got at Seneca in your job today?

Everything I learnt in the program is used everyday in my job.The knowledge and experience gained in Seneca gave me enough confidence to tackle day to day challenges at work with ease.

What advice would you give potential students who are thinking of taking the course?

Try to learn key concepts thoroughly. Tools and software will change according to projects and studio’s pipeline but the concepts are always same.
